# Creating a Profile for a New Supplier

## Learn how to create a comprehensive supplier profile, including key details and company information.

**This function will only be available to users on Professional Plan.**

To create a prolife for a new supplier: 

1. Click “Add data supplier” button at the top right corner of the “My value chain” section.  
2. Under “Data supplier info” section, you can fill in information regarding the supplier (company name, zip code, city, industry type etc.,), along with reporting frequency (as for now the option is only Yearly). 
3. In case of missing VAT number, you can click the box “I can’t find my Company in the list”, and an option “Company email” will appear under “Company name”, where you can fill in the supplier’s email address.  
4. Once you filled in the information, click “add new data supplier” button, and the profile of the supplier will appear in “My value chain” section.   

To find a supplier, you can type the name of the supplier in “Search company name” search bar at the top right side of the “My value chain” section.
