Updating a Supplier's VAT ID

This function will only be available to users on Professional Plan.

Currently it is not possible to change a supplier's VAT ID directly, as our system uses it as the primary key to identify the company. To update it, you will need to register the supplier again with a new VAT ID.

How to Re-register a Supplier:

  1. Go to "My Value Chain" section.
  2. Click “Add data supplier” button at the top right corner.
  3. Under “Data supplier info” section, fill in the supplier details (company name, VAT ID, zip code, city, industry type etc.), and select the reporting frequency (as for now the option is only Yearly).
  4. In case of missing VAT number click the box “I can’t find my Company in the list”, and an option “Company email” will appear under “Company name”, where you can fill in the supplier’s email address.
  5. Once you filled in the information, click “add new data supplier” button, and the profile of the supplier will appear in “My value chain” section.   
To find a supplier, you can type the name of the supplier in “Search company name” search bar at the top right side of the “My value chain” section.
